Freezer Burn & Sundrop
Suesan Pollard
Suesan Pollard has been working freelance in the superhero business for her entire life, basically. Since high school, under the name "Freezer Burn." She was a great hit early on due to the false pretenses the name gave off. Her power is arson. Blue pyrokinesis to be specific, but who's keeping track of semantics. She started off with a literal big bang 22 years ago and is a vital asset in protecting the city from harm to this day.
Funny enough though, Sue has grown more and more tired of how her life is going (becoming burnt out as they might say). Having such an impactful secret with all the issues of a spontaneous job has caused her to live a broke, lonely, frustrating, and exhausting life anywhere that isn't the battlefield. She's lived long enough to develop early onset joint pain and an identity crisis beyond the mask. She doesn't plan on ever leaving the superhero business, but thinks that gaining an apprentice or two would do wonders in keeping her from dying before 40.

- She's been a superhero since age 14
- she lives alone with a cat currently named Stoffie.
- She's a perfectionist and is too ashamed to ask for help when she struggles with beginner things. Since she missed out on a lot of basic human milestones for the sake of crimefighting, she doesn't have a lot of skills and struggles often.
- She's never gone on a date before.
- She does get paid for her duties but "paid handsomely" would be a bit of an overstatement. She does get some benefits though. Namely dental.
- high school dropout, made it through community college with an associates in general studies but wants to go back for more
- her current goals are to retire, to catch up on all the life she sacrificed, to teach her apprentice everything she had to learn the hard way
Dottie Fletcher
Dottie Fletcher is a tired but optimistic teenager trying to adapt to her newly developed powers along with life in general. She is able to create clouds and stars that send weather-based attacks. When her powers accidentally knock out a monster already being fought by longtime superhero Freezer Burn, she's surprised when the veteran immediately asks to mentor her, but jumps on it just as fast.
Dottie is a risk taker who isn't afraid to put herself in danger to get the job done. She is kind of a harsh presence, often being too blunt and talking before she can actually think, meaning she comes off pretty crudely. Dottie is a skateboard and parkour fanatic, which helps her often during battles. More often than not, she fights with her fists rather than with her powers.
Dottie has been deeply hurt by her childhood. She needs a safe mentor more than ever. It's just good luck she's one of the ones that gets one.
Fun facts:
- Dottie starts out homeless (couch hopping off her friends) until Suesan finds out and makes her move in with her.
- She made her own costume.
- Her default eye color is sky blue, but "clouds over" or "becomes sunny" depending on her mood.
- She is transfemme.
- She left her little brother behind when she was kicked out from home and thinks about him every day.
- Despite her tomgirl personality, Dottie really likes feminine stuff, she just thinks she'd never be able to pull it off.
- her current goals are to get a stable living space, to get back to school, to be a good apprentice.
